Come sample the fare of over 15 great New Orleans restaurants while enjoying jazz music in a historic location. And you’ll be supporting a good cause at Feast With The Stars, a jazz brunch that supports planting of green spaces and community gardens. The stars are local celebrities and fun New Orleans characters and it takes place at Gallier Hall on St. Charles Avenue across from Lafayette Square near Poydras. Restaurants will include Bayona, Cafe Reconcile, Dooky Chase, K-Paul’s Louisiana Kitchen, Zea’s, Windsor Court, Pascal Manale’s and more. All food and spirits are included in the fee. To Be Honored: Flo Schornstein, 16 year Director of the Parks and Parkways Commission and founder of Parkway Partners in 1982 Honorary Co-Chairs: Mayor Mitch Landrieu and his wife Cheryl. Proceeds from this event will fund Parkway Partner’s ongoing efforts to plant trees, support community gardeners and schoolyard gardens. 91% of the proceeds go directly into programs.
